Inauguration of the Vocational Training
centre was on 15-08-2005, The
Co-Partners in this Training Centre are
Shri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya
Polytechnic, and will impart training in
various avenues with their qualified
faculties, The first batch of training
is in the field of House wiring and
motor coil winding for the gents and for
the ladies it will be tailoring
,embroidery and beautician courses, the
training would be imparted to all the
people ,below the poverty line and free
of cost. After six months the first
batches of successful trainees passed
out in the month of March 2006 and were
given certificates and all other
assistance for them to start their own
ventures. We whole heartedly thank all
the sponsors who supported this venture
by giving material, sewing machines,
furniture’s etc.
Due to the great success of the
Vocational training centre, and the
overwhelming response shown by the
public, the need for extra space was
felt. Hence it was decided to extend one
more floor to ease the congestion. On
his Official visit, on 25-4-2006,
Governor K.S.Pillai was happy enough to
inaugurate the New Extension Block of
the Vocational Training Centre, which
had cost about Rs. 3 lakhs.
